Direct.me Terms of Service

1. The Platform

Direct.me provides tools allowing users (“Creators”) to create pages, publish content, collect subscribers, communicate with followers, and sell digital products, memberships, and other offerings (“Creator Offerings”).

Direct.me provides platform software and facilitates payments through third-party payment processors, including Stripe Connect.

Creators — not Direct.me — are the sellers and providers of their offerings. Direct.me does not act as the merchant of record except where explicitly stated.

Direct.me does not guarantee delivery, quality, legality, safety, or accuracy of any Creator Offering.

However Direct.me may intervene in transactions including issuing refunds, reversing payouts, restricting accounts, or removing content to enforce rules, comply with payment processor requirements, comply with law, or protect users and the Platform. Such intervention does not make Direct.me the seller.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for platform safety, legal compliance, or payment processor requirements.

3. Payments

Payments are processed through third-party processors including Stripe Connect. By using Direct.me you also agree to those processor terms.

Direct.me does not store full payment card details and may change processors at any time.

By purchasing a Creator Offering you acknowledge payment is made to the Creator via the Direct.me platform using a third-party processor. Direct.me is not responsible for creator performance but may assist in dispute resolution.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Tips

Digital Products: All digital purchases are final once accessed unless required by law or refunded at Direct.me discretion.

Subscriptions: Automatically renew unless canceled before renewal. Canceling stops future billing but access continues until the end of the paid period. No prorated refunds unless required by law.

Tips: Generally non-refundable except fraud or legal requirement.

Refunds: Direct.me may issue refunds at its sole discretion. Creators agree refunds may be funded by reversing or withholding earnings.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

Users must contact support before chargebacks. Chargebacks may result in account removal.

Direct.me may reverse payouts, hold funds, refund customers, and restrict accounts to comply with payment processor rules.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not violate laws, impersonate, scam, distribute malware, harass minors, infringe intellectual property, bypass payment systems, scrape the platform, or violate payment processor rules.

Adult sexual content is prohibited.

We may remove content or accounts at our discretion.

7. Content License

You retain ownership of content but grant Direct.me a license to host, display, and distribute it to operate the Platform. Aggregated data may be used for analytics and improvement.

8. Messaging & Subscribers

Creators own subscriber lists and may export where functionality exists. Direct.me may send platform or creator communications through messaging tools. Spam may result in restrictions.

9. AI Features

Content may be used to improve platform AI features consistent with law and the Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time. We may remove content, refund customers, reverse payouts, or hold balances during dispute windows.

11. Disclaimer

Platform provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or creator accuracy.

12. Limitation of Liability

Maximum liability is the greater of $100 USD or fees received from you in the last 3 months.

13. Indemnification

You indemnify Direct.me for claims arising from your content, offerings, use, or violations.

14. Arbitration & Governing Law

Governed by Wyoming law. All disputes resolved by binding individual arbitration with class action waiver. Small claims allowed.

15. Changes

We may update Terms anytime. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Creator Monetization Terms

• Creators are responsible for their offerings, support, legality, and delivery.
• Direct.me retains up to 25% platform fee plus processing fees.
• Direct.me may delay payouts, hold reserves, freeze balances, refund customers, and recover amounts from balances.
• Excessive chargebacks may result in monetization removal.
• Creators are independent businesses responsible for taxes.
